By Road
From the South, exit the M74 at junction 4. Follow signs for Glasgow Centre (M8). Continue on the M8 to Greenock and follow signs to Gourock (27 miles from Glasgow). Dunoon is served by 2 ferry links - take either Western Ferries or Argyll Ferries at Gourock for a 20 minute crossing. Culzean House is 14 miles north of Dunoon on the A880. Alternatively take the scenic route via Loch Lomond following the A82 to A83, then A815 for Dunoon and turn left at the sign for Ardentinny on the A880. Caution: road liable to icy conditions. Culzean House is 1 mile north of Ardentinny.

By Bus
The Cowal Connector McGill's 907 service departs from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station and boards the Western Ferry at McInroy's point and carries passengers to Dunoon town centre.
